I can't believe this, but I've had this journal for ten years. Man. I drifted out of the community for quite a long time, but this year I've gotten back into Dreamwidth again and would love to find more people to talk fandom with! My taste can sometimes lean towards the dark and messed up, so if that's not for you, you probably won't be interested in my content.

I've been into Doctor Who off and on for years, and Twelve and Clara and Missy are among my favorite characters. Their dynamic with each other respectively is just... something I'm still not over. I'm not sure who I ship or how, but I am here for it. Also I've gotten into Good Omens and it's dragging me back into Ten-era Who and other British things I like?

I have been in fandom for yeaaars but this Dreamwidth in particular is newer.

That all sounds cool, I've added you! I feel I should mention that you might want to avoid my religion tags because I write from a non-believer's perspective, but if you don't mind that, I always find it valuable to engage with different viewpoints.

I really don't mind other perspectives! I just don't like to read viewpoints that belittle believers, which I bring up mostly based on past experiences.

Edit since I was typing on my phone earlier: The fact that you like to discuss or read about it from various point of views probably means that even if I don't like every opinion you have about it that you and I would be fine in a conversation about it. I was a Philosophy major in undergrad and I got absolutely sick of a bunch of Philosophy Bros trying to convince me that I was actually too intelligent to be religious and that I had to be joking, etc. Faith = Stupidity kinds of arguments, etc. Then there is the present discourse that sometimes crops up in leftist circles that basically if you believe in anything but progressive materialism that you don't really care about women/lgbt/etc. I find that stuff exhausting, and so that's kind of what I'm talking about. I glanced at some of your posts and it seems like you tag things well and such.

I get you on the Philosophy Bros. That's pretty obnoxious. There's a lot of finger-pointing in present discourse in general that I don't particularly like. If you want to talk philosophy anytime though, I'm here for it!

Hey! Late response, I know - coming back to this I wondered why I hadn't responded. I don't have a policy on it since it's never come up before, but I couldn't decide whether I'd be fine sharing the content of my journal with a minor. I think on balance probably not. Sorry about that.
