Haha, this exact thing actually came up just the other day with someone else. But honestly, if you're familiar enough with the basic canon and enjoy it, that's good enough to be called a fan imo! Especially with the slow drip main plot + overwhelmingly long-running combowombo of Detective Conan. like i enjoy it but also the wiki is my best friend
