I'm quite a fannish person and love learning/researching about fandom history. And meta is something I'm also very into, just discussions about a particular fandom or just fandom in general are quite fascinating to read about and engage with, seeing the different kinds of opinions and the (hopefully respectful) conversations that can come from them. I used to write some meta back in the day, I haven't done it in a long while but that itch is still there. I do engage whenever I can with others who do, though.
