I have tried to take a more active interest in reading fic again lately, too.

Other Info: This may be excessively thorough, particularly in the ships section. It also might not even be complete. The truth is, I'm a multishipper with very few notps and a really low tolerance for ship-warring. I want my fandom experience to be a happy, engaging thing that makes myself and others smile. That's the main reason I'm giving dreamwidth a go after having had an account for years. In the past, I've just used it for fic exchange letters. If you add me, be prepared for that to happen at least every few months. I'm also not even into fandom just for shipping, I should note. I'm not the world's most brilliant at it, but I do like world building and meta discussions a lot. I might post about my life sometimes, but we'll see. I've been on tumblr for a long time, and I don't plan on leaving it entirely but I'm just really tired of the impersonal and overwhelming nature of it. My tumblr is linked in my profile if you wanna see more about me (though I can't imagine you would want that after all this).

As I mentioned, I am really into Avatar right now. I just got into it, which means I haven't gotten to Legend of Korra yet (I'm not quite finished with ATLA). However, I got into it finally because of Korrasami. I already ship it by default. I'm really behind on all my currently-airing TV shows.

New edit: Didn't think it was time to make a whole other post, but I just watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica last week and I've been screaming inside ever since.

We have a lot of fandoms and ships in common - and attitude towards ships too. I used to be an OTP kinda gal but now i'm like... ooh there's chemistry and fun.
Fandom is very much my happy place and I hate all the wank and infighting - just let me ENJOY my shows!

Sure! I went over your profile and intro post and stuff, and I just wanted to like forewarn you in case you needed to be forewarned. I debated about putting it in my post, but since it wasn't related to fandom, I didn't. I'm bi, socially liberal, etc., but I'm also religious and I might mention that or politics from time to time. However, I don't rail at people or anything ever so if you're cool with that, then certainly.

I've hit a point where religion fascinates me, to be honest. I work for a faith-based charity, but don't have a faith of my own, not any more.

Absolutely! I have been really exhausted with a couple of the fandoms we have in common which is why they kind of trail down towards the end of the list, so they might not be the primary things I post about? However, I haven't had a fellow Kate/Clint shipper to talk to in ages. I got really behind on reading the comic when I got out of college because I kind of graduated into not being able to afford them, but I read up through Kate deciding she needed to go back home from LA. I need to figure out what issues I need and continue.

But yes, sure! I read your 'house rules' on your blog and agree with them a lot, so I think we'll get along just fine.

We have a bunch of fandoms in common, including The 100 (though I do ship Kane/Abby more than a little bit, but that shouldn't be a problem, hee), Agents of SHIELD, Leverage, SG-1 and ATLA. I think we mostly like different characters and ships in general, and I don't multiship much, but as long as there's no bashing, I'm very low-maintenance, and I think the same is true for you. So... friends? :)
