Cause I like looking at pretty pictures on tumblr but I miss interacting and squeeing over shows!

Main Fandoms: I'm sort of between big fandoms right now, but the current main thing I'm obsessing over is Riverdale. My previous big fandom was Doctor Who, though I'm not really up to date on Moffatt-era. (classic, RTD era, and Big Finish I all love) Orphan Black, Elementary, Brooklyn 99, Torchwood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel the Series, Labyrinth, X-Men (comics, mostly), Harry Potter, Star Trek (TOS and reboot mostly), Star Wars EU, Mad Max Fury Road, Syfy's Alice miniseries.
Other Fandoms: Honestly, if you throw something with an awesome female protagonist in it at me, I'm pretty much sold. Sarah Conner, Ripley, Underworld, sci-fi/fantasy movies, 80s brat pack, whatever.
Fannish Interests: I read fanfic like it's my job, love meta and fanvids, had a brief career as a semi-popular photomanip maker in a small part of Who fandom, and cosplay for Comicon every year, mostly X-Men but also various other fandoms depending on my interests at the time.
OTPs and Ships: I am all about lady characters and thus mostly interested in het and femmeslash. For het, I mostly ship standard canon ships, for femmeslash I'll ship pretty much anyone. Main ones are probaby Bughead, Doctor/Rose, Spuffy, Buffy/Faith, Jareth/Sarah, Rogue/Gambit, older!Hermione/fan!Snape (yes, yes, I know...), Alice/Hatter, female characters/awesomeness, Clint/Natasha, Harley/Ivy, Leia/Han, Luke/Mara, Max/Furiosa, Cheedo/the Dag.
Favourite Movies: The Fifth Element, Labyrinth, The City of Lost Children, Evil Dead II, Dead Man, Hellboy, Aguirre Wrath of God, Only Lovers Left Alive, Grease, Mad Max: Fury Road
TV Shows: Riverdale, Orphan Black, Elementary, Doctor Who, Brooklyn 99, Buffyverse, Trek, Jessica Jones. Planning to watch iZombie and/or Supergirl next!
Books: A lot of non-fiction and pop science and all the teen fantasy like Garth Nix's Sabriel and Tamora Pierce's various series. Last things I read that were fun and in that vein were The Fall of Ile-Rein books by Martha Wells and Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Córdova.
Music: all things goth, synth and new wave, with soft spots for classic rock, 80s pop and 90s rock. Bowie, Depeche Mode, NIN, Gary Numan, IAMX, Covenant. I'll talk music anytime.
Comics/Anime/Misc: old school X-Men fan, keep vaguely up to date with Marvel universe happenings, Revolutionary Girl Utena is a fave.

I saw that you love Sabriel and Tamora Pierce and thought we'd get along. However, I checked out your blog and noticed that one of your "we might not get along" stipulations is if one loves Steven Moffat. Which, unfortunately, I do. I'm mostly posting TRON material at the moment, and not much DW, though I may post occasionally about the new series. (Also, I signed up to write Amy/Rory fic for 15kisses. So there will be that on my blog.)

I'll leave it up to you whether or not to friend me, but I think despite our differing Doctor Who opinions, we could probably get along. :)

Back in the day there were these weird fandom wars between RTD and Moffat, and people would post a lot of line-in-the-sand meta on their blog, but I don't think that happens anymore! I'm not familar with the later seasons so I probably wouldn't be able to comment on any of it but I'm planning to watch some of the newest season when I get a chance, because Bill seems like a cutie.

Yeah, I remember those days. I was a bit of an angry Tumblrite back then; I didn't post any line in the sand stuff, but I complained about people complaining a lot. <__<;; I'm less angry these days, mostly because as you said, there doesn't seem to much of that stuff anymore. Also you should totes watch Series 10, Bill is THE CUTEST. :D

I don't think we have a lot in common since almost none of the canons you've listed really appeal to me (Buffy's alright but I haven't watched it in yeaaaaaars and I'm more into anime than LA canons), but I'll throw some music recs your way since I recently recommended punk/gothy stuff to a friend recently and have a list ready:

The Birthday Massacre (synth-rock?), Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows (medieval-y darkwave, the vocalist is a German trans woman but a lot of her songs are in English), Jakalope (industrial/alternative rock), The Creepshow (psychobilly), Zombina and the Skeletones (deathrock), Switchblade Symphony (trip-hop/darkwave) Nightwish and Tarja (Finnish band but mostly English songs, symphonic metal. Tarja was I think the original singer until she left and started doing her own thing), Evanescence (lol), Rob Zombie (rock), Faithful Dawn (heavily-leaning electronic darkwave?), Paralitikos (Spanish deathrock/punk?), She Wants Revenge (more punk and darkwave than gothic), Tears for Fears (more synth-pop, they made the original "Mad World" song), Cindergarden (darkwave again), Eyaculación Post-Mortem (Spanish, like Paralitikos but leans more electronic IMO), Cocteau Twins (dream-pop/shoegaze, very beautiful but the lyrics are word salad-y, lol), My Bloody Valentine (dream-pop/shoegaze), Blutengel (darkwave, German with English and German songs), Parálisis Permanente (more Spanish deathrock/punk!), Bloodflowerz (gothic rock/metal), Echo & The Bunnymen (post-punk/alternative), Faith and the Muse (darkwave/gothic rock/ethereal), Forever Slave (Spanish symphonic metal in mostly English), Hungry Lucy (trip-hop/darkwave), Mad Marge and the Stonecutters (psychobilly), Murderland (horror punk), Shadow Reichenstein (horror punk/psychobilly), The Candy Spooky Theater (J-rock, definitely gives me the Halloween feels), Murder of My Sweet (Swedish symphonic metal, can't remember if they have any Swedish songs), The Young Werewolves (horror punk/psychobilly)... Depeche Mode omitted for obvious reasons, hahah.

I know I'm late to the party, but we share quite a few canons and ships! Mostly HP (also a big older!HG/SS fan), Doctor/Rose, Alice/Hatter, and BtVS (though my ships are different, if that's an issue).

Also, YES! to all of your music. I love everything from darkwave to 90s rock and everything that falls in between =D
