Favourite Movies:
I haven't watched a movie in a while - being hard of hearing makes watching movies at the theaters a pain in the butt and by the time it's available on DVD I never get around to watching it for whatever reason. But my favorite movies of all time are still Star Trek movies 2, 3 & 4.
Books: I recently realized I didn't read an actual book at all last year... I don't even remember what the last book I read was! I need to get back into reading since it is one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy science fiction and mystery so I'll be looking for recommendations in those areas. Books I have enjoyed in the recent past include: Tobias Buckell's trilogy - Ragamuffin, Crystal Rain and Sly Mongoose and Daniel Heath Justice's The Way of Thorn and Thunder trilogy.
Other Info: My journal is brand new but I hope that doesn't scare people off from adding me as I enjoy meeting new people and I hope to get involved in fandom discussions and post about books/shows every so often.
