Date: 2017-07-09 06:37 pm (UTC)I didn't import my LJ friends for the simple reason that a lot of them haven't updated in years. They don't even have a DW. So I just keep reminding the ones that are still active that I plan to move here permanently and they could add me on DW if they want. It seems to work.

Oh, you share your birthday with Jared Padalecki. The amazing actor who plays Sam Winchester, one of the main characters of Supernatural. (Now, is this the first sign you should check out this series or what? *lol*) I totally fangirl over him. So, you're a couple of days older than me. Muhahaha (just kidding). My birthday is August 6th.
I know. Living in Germany I naturally talk in German all the time. I mostly read English books/websites and watch movies/tv shows etc. in English. It helps me not forgetting my English. But when it comes to writing... it's an entirely different thing. Some days it's hard for me to write in English. The words just don't want to come. Other days it just flows. I guess that's part of the reason why I haven't updated my journal in so long. But I'm determined and I want to push through. So I totally get you. I wish you good luck with your writing!
(I've seen it. :) And I know, I always have to update mine, too, as I seem to discover new fandoms and ships on a regular basis.)
