Other Fandoms: Star Trek franchise (fav DS9), Star Wars franchise, The X Files, The Simpsons, What We Do In The Shadows, Starsky & Hutch, Dark Winds, Sanctuary, there is probably more, too many...
Fannish Interests: I am a little obsessed with making icons. I have icon-ed every episode of Stargate and Sherlock, and am working my way through my other fandoms. I also make wallpapers and photo manipulations. I wrote a little bit back in the day with 117 stories on Ao3. I absolutely love discussing characters, their motivations, intentions, and possibilities! I love reading fic and am just blown away with how fan art has grown, amazing stuff! (Just don't come at me with that AI rubbish.)
OTPs and Ships: Jack O'Neill/Daniel Jackson (SG-1), Sherlock/John (Sherlock), Edward Teach/Stede Bonnet (OFMD), Crowley/Aziraphale (Good Omens (I stand with the survivors)), 13th Doctor/Yasmin Khan (Doctor Who), Mac/Nikki (MacGyver), I have no beef with anyone else's ships (I survived the ship wars), and I've taken requests for all kinds of pairing, OT3's and so on. Love is love.
Favourite Movies: I am not a big movie buff, forgive me.
TV Shows: All of the above. I am a sucker for a decent sitcom or the like that I can have on in the background, i.e. Bob's Burgers, Friends, Big Bang Theory, QI, Black Books...
Books: Too many to list, and not particularly fannish. I am very choosy about fiction outside of fandom. I most read non fiction, i.e. comparative mythology, treaty and cultural teachings, and works from my professional field.
Music: Queen, Muse, Placebo, Evanescence, Nightwish, Seether, Nirvana, Kendrick Lamar, Kylie, Lil' Nas X, Radiohead...
I like to post about: I almost exclusively post fan art, happy for anyone to follow purely for that. I have written fan fiction in the past - my last was 2023, some meta, and just anything I find amusing really. I used to post conventions panels, photography, etc, but now I am old and sore. *g* I cross post everything to my Tumblr, and related comms/SM.
About Me/Other Info: I started out on the ol' message boards and forums, I've been on Dreamwidth since the beginning, a Livejournal refugee when the Russians took over and banned 'teh geh'! I was also part of the Tumblr purge (I am still there, I just get around their AI). I will not tolerate any bigotry, racism, misogyny, etc. I am a big ol' godless queer native veggie leftie snowflake.
