Date: 2018-12-06 07:55 pm (UTC)I love Nami/Vivi so much. I have a hard time shipping girls together, and not for lack of trying. I can't find a lot of believable interactions that seems... IDK... real? To me a lot of things come off as tropey or projecting on the author's part, or even just cliche or boring and stale. But her friendship with her felt like it went beyond just girl friends and she was really upset at them parting, so I ended up shipping the heck out of it. Nami's my favorite girl in the whole series, probably out of any fandom I'm in as well.
I'm deeply regretting now that I don't have a Nami icon, but I just got a paid so it's time to change that!
