Age: 28. This is the year I stop counting.
Main Fandoms: American Idol RPS (Season 8, Kris Allen/Adam Lambert), Firefly, Harry Potter
Fannish Interests: I read fic, but mostly only for Idol RPS, and then usually only by authors who I'm familiar with I write a lot with my BFF/life partner, but we don't post anywhere.
Favourite Movies: Harry Potter (all of them, although I was highly disappointed with PoA and HBP - SS was my favorite.) Notting Hill, Miss Congeniality, Dirty Dancing, My Best Friend's Wedding, Music and Lyrics, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin...basically I love romantic comedies.
TV Shows: Mad Men!! I watch the Food Network like it's going out of style, and I've also (recently) gotten into watching Project Runway. I also have a huge soft spot for Drop Dead Diva.
Books: Again, romance is key...I'm an escapist at heart. Nora Roberts has been right at the top of my list ever since high school. I also love Louisa Edwards, Christie Ridgway, Kristan Hoffman, and Rachel Gibson for het romance. For gay romance, number one is unquestionably Fae Sutherland. I adore her solo work and also like her joint stuff with Marguerite Labbe.
Music: Again with the escapism...I love pop music. Nothing too hard or heavy. Maroon 5, Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Daughtry, Goo Goo Dolls, Foo Fighters, Darren Hayes, Lifehouse, Sara Bareilles, Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz...if it's happy and catchy, it's likely it'll catch my attention.
Comics/Anime/Misc: I've never really gotten into graphic art.
Other Info: Um...hi?! I post pretty infrequently, and it's usually about RL stuff instead of fandom things, but it'd be nice to know that there's people on my flist who won't just pass by my fandom-related posts. If you add me, please drop me a commment letting me know so I can check out your profile and add you back (if we have enough mutual interests that I think it'ds be worthwhile for both of us.)
