Fannish Interests: consuming massive amounts of fanfic, writing fanfic in fits and starts, watching fanvids to feed my various ship obsessions. (Do you know how hard it is to find Susan/Teatime fanvids? There are like six, and I've seen them all.) More consumption than contribution, I'm afraid. Unless flailing and squealing counts as contributing, in which case I'm incredibly prolific. I also collect have a truly astonishing collection of fandom-related text icons for all occasions.

Other Info: My journal is a pretty mixed bag. I talk a bit about fandom stuff, a bit about writing, a bit about my major (history) and my thesis (polygamy! complex marriage! how fringe religious groups reflected mainstream Victorian values even while they looked like they were defying them!), and a bit about personal real life stuff. My obsession with a fandom tends to be inversely related to its size and popularity, which is why Crusade is my favorite fandom and Susan/Teatime is my favorite (weird, creepy, dysfunctional) OTP. In non-fandom life I'm a lady-type person living in one of the liberal bastions of North Carolina, where I share a home with my parents and our three cats. I'm a feminist, a liberal, agnostic with atheist leanings, geeky (obviously), and I speak snark fluently, having learned it in the cradle.
