Other Fandoms: Darker than Black, Apothecarius Argentum, Twelve Kingdoms, Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit, Inuyasha, Hetalia, Vampire Hunter D, Baccano!, Sailormoon, Working!!! So…pretty much all anime/manga

Fannish Interests: Writing fanfiction and drawing occasional fanart. I sometimes read fanfiction, too.

OTPs and Ships: I’m not that into romance and rarely ship seriously, but if I do it’s always het pairings. I’m not into yaoi or yuri or slash, so if you are then we probably won’t be a good match. :\

Favourite Movies: Westerns! The Magnificent Seven, The Good the Bad and the Ugly (and the other “Dollars” movies), Rango, Duck You Sucker, Sabata, pretty much any western with Clint Eastwood. Also Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, The Goonies… I like documentaries about history or locations. Imax movies are some of my favorites.

TV Shows: I actually don’t watch much TV anymore, but I am fairly familiar with Law & Order and its spinoffs. And Spongebob…

Books: the People series by Kathleen and W. Michael Gear, the Matthew Corbett series by Robert McCammon (of which I’ve only read two books so far, but he’s already a favorite), historical nonfiction or anything to do with world cultures and art.

Music: Bill Miller, Adiemus, Miriam Makeba, Gigi (Ethiopian singer), Janet Klein and Her Parlor Boys, Rokia Traore, Ulali, Enya, Loreena McKennitt, Woody Guthrie, Deep Forest, stuff from Putumayo, Lecrae, Chiwoniso, Cher. I am very interested in music from around the world, be it contemporary or traditional, or both combined. I’m not at all familiar with today’s mainstream artists since I never listen to the radio.

Other Info: (copypasta’d from other add me comms) My journal consists of mostly talk about what’s going on in my life, usually college since I’m an anthropology major. I’m also a Christian, but I actually don’t talk about it that much. I would just ask that those who add me be respectful of other peoples’ beliefs and opinions. :) I don’t expect you to comment on every single thing I post, but I would like to know every so often that you are reading my posts. Everyone has a life outside the internet—or at least I’m hoping you do. :p
