About Me/Other Info: So, I'm new to dreamwidth, but my wife has had an account forever and she thinks it's a cool place, plus I was just getting into Imzy and it went bust so I thought I'd try out dreamwidth. Truthfully, because of working-class life experiences and a misspent youth, I just discovered fandom and fanfic about 2 years ago even though I've been reading sff (and everything else I could get my hands on) since I was a kid. So, yeah. I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm a pretty great cook. I just graduated with a master's in gender and sexuality and have a bachelor's in history (first-gen college graduate). I like collecting original art and prints from queer and fat and queer fat artists. I write poetry, but most of it is terrible. I come up with great ideas for stories and/or books, but never seem to follow through. I hope that changes now that I'm done with school. Tattoos are awesome and so are cats.

I write original fiction though not very much due to the aforementioned mental health issues. (I am slowly overcoming the problem though, and am looking forward to eventually posting more original fiction to my fic journal.) I am working on getting more of my older fan fic up on my AO3 account.
