I wouldn't call American Horror Story a favorite show so much as, like OUaT before it, I now mostly watch it the way one watches a train wreck: with slowly dawning horror and then perverse interest. iZombie, The Good Place, Travelers, The 4400, Person of Interest, Continuum, The Magicians, Santa Clarita Diet.
Books: Kushiel's Dart, Kushiel's Chosen, and Kushiel's Avatar by Jacqueline Carey. Sparrow Hill Road and the Indexing duology by Seanan McGuire. The Valdemar books by Mercedes Lackey (well not the more recent ones... up until about Alberich's books). Harry Potter, of course.
Music: Disturbed, S.J. Tucker, Shinedown, Disney soundtracks. I have a lot of music I listen to and I don't want a paragraph like for books.
Games: BIOWARE DROPPED THE DRAGON AGE FOUR TRAILER OMGs. If Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't released soon I might have to do something unpleasant to someone.

ANYTHING ELSE?: I'm gonna answer this first just to give some context. I joined DW back in 2009 when they just started cos of a bunch of changes in LJ. (Not many people on my flist migrated over, though.) Then I got busy with school and work, blahblahblah. I quit my job back in September this year cos I wanted a break and am now attempting to get back into journaling. I can't promise I will post a lot, but I will definitely try to read and comment as often as I can.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES: I used to read and write fics? One-shots? Drabbles? :/ I read way more than I write.
I enjoy listening to music more than watching shows. Mostly Mandopop (Mayday, JJ Lin, Jay Chou, etc) and Kpop (Shinhwa, DB5K, Suju, Infinite, Bigbang, etc).
I did watch Gossip Girl seasons 1+2, Thor and Avengers movies (it all started when my friend dragged me to watch the first Thor movie). I saw A4 trailer last night and gosh, so exciting.
I have read all 7 HP books, watched all 8+2 movies. I would love to visit the HP world/theme park and try butterbeer someday. :D

I used to be auctoritas-ritae and for a little while I still am, but I've come back to my old haunts here on DW. (If any old-school DW folks remember kaptainvon, dat me too.)

My main fandom is Vampire: the Various Role Playing Games Made By White Wolf And Their Associates, and I've set up vampirethevarious over here in the hope of finding some other people who are into that sort of thing.

I also go off about Life Is Strange (and write an increasingly sprawling VTMB/LIS crossover on AO3), obscure Doctor Who spinoff Faction Paradox, Guy Ritchie movies when the stars are right, and British police procedurals, the more offbeat the better (everything from The Beiderbecke Affair to Life On Mars). I also like Overwatch, but don't expect me to do much other than coo over Spiderbyte fanart and occasionally stream it over on m'Twitch thing. And I play an amount of Warhammer-based stuff. And I'm doing a PhD about RPGs as transformative work and death positivity, so that gets in too.

I post meta, gameplay resources, maybe some actual plays and fic links/recs. Also the occasional cat pic or glimpse of my Warhammer pile o'shame. I also post more personal stuff for folks with access, but that's a trust tree kind of deal: I'd like to get to know people first.
