Country: America.
Subscription/Access Policy: If you have similar tastes to mine’s then I’d like to be friends! The internet feels like such an angry wasteland now. :-/
Main Fandoms: Disney (the animated films, some of the animated TV series), Sonic The Hedgehog*, Road Rovers*. I’m also a crossover fanatic.
Other Fandoms: My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic*, Bravestarr, Extinctioners, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There’s also plenty of stuff I read for (Steven Universe, Marvel/MCU, Lord Of The Rings, Night At The Museum, Stargate SG:1, Animorphs, etc. It’s a very long list), but don’t actually write fic for. That’s usually because I’m either pretty satisfied with how canon played out/or I just don’t have any ideas.
*A lot of the fandoms I write for is because I end up liking a certain character or characters in them, or even the concept of a series better than how the canon gets executed. So many of my fics are outright AUs or diverge from canon. With FiM, I’m more admittedly impressed by the fanwork.
Fannish Interests: Fanfiction, fanart, roleplaying, cosplay (have not tried it out myself yet, but it looks interesting and I’ve seen so many amazing ones!), discussing and theorizing about characters, trying to collect memorabilia, reccing.
OTPs and Ships: I have a few OTPs, but don’t really feel inspired to write about them or anything (I’m happy just looking at other people’s fan art/fic). I also have some OC/canon ships under my belt and am a multi shipper – IE: I find Tiana/Naveen (Princess And The Frog) to be like the cutest thing ever, but I saw a RP that had Tiana/Sanji (he’d fallen a lot quicker than she did though) and really like that idea, so I ship both those ships. I have het and same-sex ships.
Favourite Movies: Oh dear. We could be here for a while. I’ll just rattle off a few of my faves: The Count Of Monte Cristo (2002), Django Unchained, Tombstone, Dances With Wolves, Goodfellas. I am a huge movie buff in general though and love plenty of other films. There are a number of films (Disney ones included) I need to see or rewatch because I’ve not seen them in so long.
TV Shows: American Ninja Warrior, Arrested Development, American Experience, A Crime To Remember, Reaper, Late Night With Conan ‘O Brian, Face-Off, The Late Show With David Letterman, Married With Children, Community, Transformers Animated, The Soup (the Joel McHale era), Steven Universe.
Books: I like fantasy, thrillers, sci-fi, true crime, historical fiction, action/adventure, and nonfiction history, but will read anything that catches my eye.
Music: I’m pretty happy with listening to anything aside from scream-metal and songs that just consist of the artist rapping in a very weird-sounding digitally altered voice (I don’t know what it’s called), and club/synth type stuff. I like movie soundtracks too.
Games: I’ve seen some games that look pretty interesting, but don’t play.
Comics/Anime/Misc: My Hero Academia, One Piece, Digimon, Inuyasha. There’s still a lot of stuff I need to check out (am currently in the middle of watching Gurren Laggan because I heard Transformers Animated took some inspiration from it). If I can include webcomics, Oren’s Forge, Cloudscratcher, and Realm of Kaerwyn are currently my favorites.
Other Info: Somebody else on here said something I agreed with “I don’t believe fiction = reality (though I suspect some people who call other people [insert buzzword here] for liking some series or characters they themselves hate don’t actually believe what they’re saying and just want to drag other fans).” While there are ships/characters/etc I don’t care for, I just prefer to ignore them (might occasionally rant about them in my Blogger). I do very much like several of Disney recent so-called “twist villains”; I’m just adding this because I’ve had a number of Disney fans become very aggro towards me for that sentiment, and I’m not interested in being continually harassed for liking cartoon characters of all things. I like a lot of older things (I love TCM), but can look at them without nostalgia glasses. I love animals. I enjoy kicking ideas back and forth with others (theirs, my own) as well as learning new things.
