Date: 2019-08-27 12:25 am (UTC)Edit since I was typing on my phone earlier: The fact that you like to discuss or read about it from various point of views probably means that even if I don't like every opinion you have about it that you and I would be fine in a conversation about it. I was a Philosophy major in undergrad and I got absolutely sick of a bunch of Philosophy Bros trying to convince me that I was actually too intelligent to be religious and that I had to be joking, etc. Faith = Stupidity kinds of arguments, etc. Then there is the present discourse that sometimes crops up in leftist circles that basically if you believe in anything but progressive materialism that you don't really care about women/lgbt/etc. I find that stuff exhausting, and so that's kind of what I'm talking about. I glanced at some of your posts and it seems like you tag things well and such.
