addme_fandom Name: Francesca, but most call me Frankie.
Main Fandoms: Bandom, Game of Thrones (TV, and I'm behind, so sssh don't spoil me!), Nu!Who, Supernatural (where I am also too far behind to ever catch up.), The Hunger Games, and some various others. You might see some J2 and AI8 on my journal too.
Fannish Interests: Reading fic, and podficcing. I've podficced in bandom and Dr Who so far, with plans to give smaller fandoms such as THG and Misfits some podfics. Eventually...
Favourite Movies: Anything, as long as it's decent. I love cheesy 80's teen flicks. The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, 16 Candles. Anything John Hughes does! Plus the likes of Harry Potter, Inception, I can't think of anything else. I don't have the patience for sitting through movies.
TV Shows: I watch a lot of tv. Right at this very moment, I'm watching humorous things, such as Community, Arrested Development, Miranda, Misfits. Sometimes the likes of True Blood, Game of Thrones or Fringe is too heavy. Not saying that I don't like heavy stuff, of course. I'll watch nearly anything.
Books: I read voraciously as a child, but not so much anymore. I really like The Hunger Games, even if they are a bit teeny-whiny, and this book by an Indian-American author whose name I can't remember, called Born Confused. I also love Harry Potter, How I Live Now, Wicked, and loads of trashy romance chick-lits.
Music: I will actually listen to anything, even country. Mostly it's rock, indie, punk and alt, but I listen to a lot of trance/rave, country, classical and bluegrass. Sometimes some more hardcore stuff, but mostly it's bands such as Ramones, Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Green Day, and other teeny bands. Other bands/singers include: Florence + The Machine, Marina & The Diamonds, Goldfrapp, any Broadway musicals, especially American Idiot, Queen, Bikini Kill - oh, and let me go slightly off topic here. Riot Grrl, and the whole movement behind it, is one of my passions. Expect to see many posts extoiling the virtues of Kathleen Hanna and Corin Whatsherface. (I'm bad with names!). Frank Turner is brilliant, as is Joy Divison and Patrick Stump. This list REALLY does not reflect my tastes at all. Whoops.
Comics/Anime/Misc: Comics. Uh, I read The Umbrella Academy? That's more a graphic novel, no? I have Watchmen lying around somewhere. Same with Doom Patrol. I used to watch Death Note, but never finished it Same with Vampire Knight. Which I only watched because Kanon Wakeshima did the theme song. I also tried Homestuck. I don't get it!? That's all I can think of.
