Looking for fannish friends that don't mind plurals. It's different, it's can be confusing, but really...fandom will help us connect, yes?
One request, you must post in your journal. Too many times people get added and then they go AWOL never to be seen or heard from again. It's hard for anyone to connect with you if you add and then disappear, right?
So, here are the details from the optional template:
Name: It's okay to address by wyldbutterflies
Age: Old enough to have a few regrets.
Country: US
Subscription/Access Policy: mostly access locked, though there is no problem adding you in usually if there are common interests involved.
Main Fandoms: heavy on anime and manga really but have been known to slide in and out of fandoms at whim...but usually the ones that stay are pretty solid. Current fandoms are usually littered with bishounen, are full of adventure and swordplay, or have some element of danger and destruction.
Other Fandoms: Willing to be swayed by fannish friends interests. Come, bring your fandom and let these toes touch the waters. (Is that weird? Yeah, I am pretty sure that's weird.
Fannish Interests: Anime watcher, movie consumer, fan art collector, FMV/AMV fanatic, some fan-fic reading (but no writing), fan soundtrack listeners, manga devourer, Shounen Ai and Yaoi fan
OTPs and Ships: Some ships are sailing, but don't really believe in OTPs. The going theory is that if the writer can make it believable, then it works.
Favourite Movies: Cult stuff like Clue, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Rocky Horror, Buckaroo Banzai; general Pixar things just because; Anything Godzilla except that Matthew Broderick train wreck; the big ones like Star Wars; and a lot of golden oldies such as Auntie Mame and Harvey.
TV Shows: right now it's Doctor Who all the time, though wouldn't say no to a decent Korean or Japanese drama.
Books: Everything. Right now the current reading stack holds: Goblin Hero by Jim C. Hines,The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle, Revelation by Carol Berg, Shards of Time by Lynn Flewelling, A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle, The Man Who Loved Seagulls by Osho, Idle Idol by Edward and John Harrison, and The Muse Is In by Jill Badonsky.
Music: 170.9 GB on the drive...can't live without it and it is extremely eclectic.
Games: Mostly Wii related even though there is an XBox in the house.
Comics/Anime/Misc: online comic JL8 by Yale Stewart.
Other Info: Okay, so this journal is a plural journal. It's a quirk not a problem. So, if you are interested in a friending and post somewhat frequently...give it try? Policy is generally that if we don't jive with each other, we each go our separate ways without issues or drama? Nothing to lose. Deal? So what do you say...add?

Date: 2014-08-14 09:39 pm (UTC)And if it was us who offended or insulted you, then it must have been years ago. In which case, I can only say that time has moved on and life's lessons are learned in hard swallows.

Date: 2014-08-15 12:52 pm (UTC)Although, just so we're on the same page: I am interested in learning more about plurals/multiplicity (and according to some definitions I'm multiple, though am not sure I feel about that), but I'm mildly sceptical. I've been DW and LJ friends with multiples/people in multiple systems before and it's never been an issue that I can recall.

Date: 2014-08-15 03:01 pm (UTC)No worries. Skeptical is fine as we are old enough to not need validation for anyone by the therapist. Though you may find us pretty run of the mill as we navigate life like every other person out there.
We're not even to the Smith Doctor yet, but we are getting there and looking forward to all of it!
