Another Attempt

Subscription/Access Policy: I'm undecided because for now my DW is mostly Dear Author letters. For now, everything is unlocked, but that's subject to change depending on how specific or personal I get in the future.
I tried this back in March but kind of didn't stick to it, partly because I was experiencing a seismic fandom shift and partly because real life got in the way.
Main Fandoms: Fate series (specifically Unlimited Blade Works, Zero, and Carnival Phantasm which I totally count), Robotics;Notes, Steins;Gate, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Avatar: The Last Airbender
Other Fandoms: western live action superhero stuff (MCU, DC tv shows, etc.), Doctor Who, Carmilla (web series), dabbling slightly in Mass Effect, Portal
Fannish Interests: The main thing I try to do is write fic, but I sometimes make tumblr graphic/gif posts. I'd like to get back into making icons, but it's been forever. I also have this tendency to do quasi-academic meta-thinking about fandoms that I occasionally ramble aloud about.
OTPs and Ships:
I'm a multishipper at heart and don't friend solely on the basis of ship. If you can be nice about mine, I can be nice about yours, but sharing them is great. Also gen, non-romantic relationships are indicated with ampersand (&) but the / ones could be either romantic or platonic and I'd be happy.
Fate series:
Rin/Shirou, Rin/Shirou/Saber, Rin/Archer, Saber/Archer, Saber/Gilgamesh, Saber/Irisviel, Saber/Diarmuid, Illya & Berserker, Waver & Iskandar
Robotics;Notes: Kai/Aki, Kai/Aki/Subaru, Frau/Junna, Frau & Subaru (who in my mind once tried and failed to date)
Steins;Gate: Okabe/Kurisu, Okabe & Mayuri, Future Gadget Lab family in general
Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Kyoko/Sayaka, Homura/Madoka, Homura/Kyoko, and I'm open to others but those are my main ships, Mami & Nagisa, Mami & Kyoko

Favourite Movies: almost all of the MCU (but especially Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy), Push, 13 Going On 30, Pacific Rim, Jurassic Park
TV Shows: The 100, Flarrow (but mostly The Flash?), the first season of Agents of SHIELD, Doctor Who, Skins, Leverage, The Librarians
Books: The Hunger Games, Artemis Fowl, Percy Jackson and the Olympians (<<< behind on both those last two), and anything that makes me feel smart. I'm catching up on books I was supposed to read in college but never finished and was curious or felt bad about. Right now I'm reading Gilgamesh again for Fate-related reasons. Lolita has some of the most beautiful prose ever. I regard a Portal fanfic called Blue Sky basically as a book I like, too, due to its length and how well it's written.
Music: I listen to OSTs / scores a lot. Otherwise, I really like girls who sing about troubling emotional things (examples: Halsey, Lana Del Rey, Marina and the Diamonds). I also like happier, folky stuff, and I listen to the top 40-or-whatever radio station in the car. Really the usual deciding factor for music that has lyrics is whether or not I like the lyrics, as I mostly spend my time mentally applying them to fandom scenarios.
Games: Portal, just started playing Mass Effect at my best friend's behest and enjoying it, Skyrim
Comics/Anime/Misc: Young Avengers, Hawkeye, anime listed above
I am into a lot of western live action things I didn't specifically mention or elaborate upon. I have been in a lot of fandoms in my time, but they all kind of have this nucleus around superheroics. I am very cursorily aware of the goings on in a lot fandoms I've dipped my toes in, but for all the live action stuff I'm into if it's currently airing, I'm behind. I didn't go into them a lot because I just have not been watching much live action for the past several months. My above lists haven't even tried to be exhaustive for this reason. However, if your main fandoms are something else that I'm familiar with, I might add you anyway! Just bear in mind that the above-mentioned animated stuff is kind of what I talk about lately. I didn't mean to let anime eat my life again, but here we are.
