Name: I've been known quite a few names-- but the predominate is now by my real name, Nia. (if you knew me when I went by 'Hyu'-- well we won't talk about that, we never will talk about that dark era of my life)
Age: 38 (though I seriously almost wrote 36)-- old enough to know better, and also old enough not to care.
Country: USA, but really I just want to migrate to Canada, or Sweden.
Subscription/Access Policy: Anyone may follow me, and I'll generally give access if you seem like an an okay sort. It for the most part is "Friend's Open" though I haven't had a shiny banner saying that in a while. (and stupid photobucket)

Main Fandoms: I do not have main fandoms; I am a fandom dabbler-- I jump from puddle to puddle, splashing around til I get bored. I really love CLAMP (currently Card Captor Clear Card is my jam), I enjoy anime and video games; I can often be seen playing FFXIV (if you play, please hit me up—or if you want to play, hit me up as well as I can recommend an awesome world and an awesome Free Company. I love JRPGs but I do have a soft spot in my heart for games like Dragon Age as well. I apologize for being vauge, it’s the ENFP in me.
Other Fandoms: I love Historical Romance, the A Court of Thorns and Roses series (seriously, if you adore that series as well, YOU NEED TO ADD ME, I need someone to fangirl about my love for Nesta and Cassian), I love RuPaul’s Drag Race, some Reality TV, Harry Potter, Star Wars, SIMS 4—really also see my userinfo. If anything strikes you, feel free to add—once again, love new friends
Fannish Interests: Iconning is what I usually do in terms of fanworks, I used to do fic—but considering I don’t do RP anymore—I really have no urge to write. (But I appreciate people that do write and if someone on my flist has something they’ve written that is relevant to my interests, I am all up on it!
OTPs and Ships: I have so many ships, really you have to ask me what my ships are-- In fact if you are curious, just take a interest of mine and ask me who I ship in it. It runs the gamut though, I like m/m, m/f and f/f—I am an equal-opportunity shipper.

Favourite Movies: Stardust, The King and I, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Austenland, Northanger Abbey, anything Marvel, Wonder Woman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Any Disney movie—I am sure that there are more that I am leaving out
TV Shows: A Game of Thrones, Jersey Shore, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Pride and Prejudice, Anne of Green Gables, Card Captor Sakura Clear Card and many others, I am sorry—just have so many interests.
Books: MORE THEN I CAN COUNT, but I do have a weakness for historical romances, and I also like A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas, I also liked Throne of Glass, but not as much as I liked the other series.
Music: My taste in music is eclectic, however my top three favorite bands are Duran Duran, Take That and A-ha
Games: Anything JRPGs, with a focus on Final Fantasy Series, Legend of Heroes series or Tales Of Series
Comics/Anime/Misc: See userinfo interests—too many to enumerate.

I am totally not frightened-- it takes a lot to scare me. Supernatural is also something that I've continued watching to this day, I mean it will go on forever and I am pretty convinced that Dean and Sam are still going to be kicking butt at 80. (Okay, I hope, it will give me something to squeal over at the nursing home)

Hello there! I was drawn to your icon and then I was like hmmm I think I've seen you posting around in comments in a mutual's posts. I was correct :)

I play a lot of XIV (turtle here!) and in general, we share a lot of fandoms. I'm in my younger thirties, if that helps, and I think it'd be cool if we got to know each other. We might have passed each other in other places before..? I'm not sure. LiveJournal, Scribbld, etc... older days haha.

Either way, I'm up for giving it a shot if you want to.

Adamantoise! \o/ It is a good turtle server, full of cute turtles. Our facebook page, I swear, is a good 50% turtle videos and jokes.

I... swear I used to write interesting entries, and then most of my friends stopped journaling. I'm trying to get back into it and figured the best way to do that is to try to make new friends.

From what I'm seeing your entries are very interesting-- I know that there was a influx of new people when Russia bought LJ, but now it's petered out. It's not you, it's probably the lack of new blood into the journaling system

Yes, that's the unfortunate downside. A lot of people prefer to blog in public spaces like Tumblr, but I feel that's so invasive. You tag something and anyone can see it. Even the blogs themselves are generally public. I prefer the control that journal sites like this offer.

I'm not sure if there are other adaptations, but if you're talking about the Felicity Jones version of Northanger Abbey I love it! I love JJ Feild so much in that. We have historical romance in common too. I put A Court of Thorns and Roses on my TBR list this year. Your enthusiasm makes me think that was a good choice. Haha Want to add?

Yes I am talking about that! It's one of my favorite movies, and Felicity and JJ were wonderful in thems. It is because of Mr Feilds that Mr Tilney became my favorite, I used to be a Darcy girl.

I think you'd like A Cort of Thorns and Roses, the first book is alright, but the second and third book were amazing, so much happens and so much changes. I can guarentee it that you will love every bit of it!

Henry is my favorite too, though of course I love Darcy. I've read the book several times (it's my favorite comfort read), but I only watched the movie this year because I didn't know it existed. It's so good!

Have you seen JJ Feild in Austenland? That is a great movie as well, and the book is just as good. That's definitely another recommended watch if you haven't already :)

Oh yes, I have recommendations for days-- I read a lot of Romance Novels, and my TBR pile is also ridiculously huge-- glad to add to your TBR pile! (One day I may post a picture of the physical pile, the one not on my kindle)

I've made good progress reading my TBR of paperbacks this year, but my kindle list... lol It's too long. I'm sure I'll catch up... someday. Do you happen to have any royal romance recs? The royal wedding buzz has me digging for recs right now.

Well the first book in the Devil's Riders series, Called "The Stolen Princess" by Anne Gracie excellent, it's the first book in a series, and Anne Gracie is one of my go-to's. (the first book is the Princess book, the others are pretty much standard Regency/historical-- men are related to the groom, or are best friends with him and find love as well)

Then there is the Lost Princesses Series by Christina Dodd, which is also pretty amazing.
