A stranger on a strange platform

While I'm not one of the artists being affected by tumblr's shenanigans, I can see the writing on the wall and would like to start working to build a base here more urgently than I've done so in the past. It's tough to make new friends, or even keep up with old ones, though, when one shifts blogging platforms, so hopefully I can find some fun people here!

Main Fandoms: Always changing! But for a rather long while now, my main fandoms have been Harry Potter, Yuri!!! on ICE, and Free!
Other Fandoms: Too many to list! But I've tried to cover a lot of them in my profile. I live in Japan and am a great fan of anime, particularly sports anime, and I am a scanlator of BL manga in my free time as well.
Fannish Interests: I'm a fic writer (as well as original works) but I also contribute to fandom via translations/scanlations of anime/manga.
OTPs and Ships: For the main fandoms above, I'm a huge Drarry shipper, and Victuri and OtaYuri are my OTPs for YOI. For Free!, it's harurinharu and reigisa or nothing! You don't have to share my ships to be friends with me...but it helps ;) Then again, one of my oldest friends and I have absolutely conflicting ships and enjoy making fun of each other about it, so opposites can also attract so long as it doesn't get too serious :)

I'm an avid writer, as I said, and have fic for several fandoms (though primarily those mentioned above) on my AO3 account as well as three novels with more hopefully on the way. I'm definitely keen to make friends with other writers, too, especially if they're in my fandoms (or if they're working on their own original work--easier to bounce ideas off of each other!).

I backed up my LJ here yeeeaaars and years ago, so if you're curious, there are very old (VERY VERY OLD) entries filling up my DW now for curious eyes to look over. Hit me up!

i'm not actively writing for them atm but i have in the past and i may again, once my current fandom obsession i'm writing for wanes a little, lol. but i'm definitely an active writer and like having writer friends too.

Absolutely! I've written a teensy bit for YOI, but it was all done before the series ended. Curiously, I don't have much drive to write for fandoms whose outcome I'm absolutely thrilled with XD So all my focus shifts over to other fandoms I feel could use some fixing. I do have tons of doujinshi that I'll be scanlating if I ever have the time though...
