About Me/Other Info: I have lots and lots of hobbies, including cooking, bean-to-bar chocolate making, political and community activism, sewing (clothing and quilting), calligraphy, writing, reading, board games, American and European card games, and various fitness activities. Seeing Ginn Hale and Ellen Kushner, just wanted to know-- have you ever read anything by Lynn Flewllling. Probably one of my favorite authors.. though Swordspoint by Ellen Kushner is definitely one of my favorite books of all time!

Yes!! I've read the first four Nightrunner books and I'm actually gearing up to start the fifth one soon! It's definitely a great series. :D

The best thing is that she is creating a new series which she posted on Facebook so I am looking forward to that. I love it when authors come out with new adventures

I see you've been blogging about the Rifter and I need to give the series a reread!!

Do it! Have you ever reread the series before? I read a comment from Ginn Hale that said she specifically wrote it to be an interesting experience for rereading, and having read the series three times now I think she completely succeeded in doing that! There are so many scenes/details that take on a completely new meaning once you've got the identities and timelines straightened out in your head. I hope you enjoy!

I haven't! At least not properly. I first bought the ebooks but then reread parts of the series when I got physical copies. I definitely think it's going to be a deeper experience now that we know who the people are and what's happening (and not going 'Wait wait could it really be him??' in my head ahaha)
