I've been on Dreamwidth for a long time, but I'll also be closing my Tumblr account soon and would love to meet some new folks around here.

Name: Delphi
Age: Mid-30s
Posting Habits: When I'm active, I tend to post a combination of my own fanfic, fic/art/vid/canon recs, music I'm listening to, and a "What's Making Me Happy Today" segment about the little things that are bringing me joy.
Subscription/Access Policy: I have a wide range of interests and like my reading list to be diverse, so I usually subscribe to everyone who subscribes to me. I give private post access to anyone I don't suspect to secretly be my next-door neighbour or Aunt Myrtle.

Main Fandoms: Harry Potter and Team Fortress 2
Other Fandoms: Many and varied. Some of the other fandoms I've written in include the Hobbit, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, The Magnificent Seven (TV), Warhammer 40k, Lackadaisy, His Dark Materials, Reservoir Dogs, Watchmen, Tintin, and Ristorante Paradiso. Some of the additional fandoms I read in most often include Nero Wolfe, Jeeves & Wooster, Hannibal, X-Men (comicverse or first run of movies) and the various Star Trek series (especially TOS and DS9).
OTPs and Ships: Too many to name, but to give you a sense of what you might be in for, the current pairings of my heart include Argus Filch/Severus Snape, Aberforth Dumbledore/Severus Snape, Heavy/Medic, The Administrator/Miss Pauling, Engineer/Pyro, Medic/Scout, Archie Goodwin/Nero Wolfe, Archie Goodwin/Saul Panzer, Reginald Jeeves/Bertie Wooster, Nightcrawler/Wolverine, Mr. Orange/Mr. White, and Nite Owl II/Silk Spectre II/Rorschach.

http://community.livejournal.com/mmom/191200.html#cutid1 "Slippery Fingers". My Jeeves and Bertie Wooster entry for MMOM.
https://greghousesgf.dreamwidth.org/2008/11/22/ "Jeeves and the Very Happy Ending". Jeeves and Bertie/Dr. Who crossover that uses Obama's election as a plot device. I know that sounds like a joke but it's good.

Hi and welcome (back) to DW! I like reading HP fic (even if I don't write any myself), so I added you! I mostly write LotR/The Hobbit RPF at the moment, but feel free to add me back!
Noa

Archie Goodwin/Nero Wolfe is such an exceptionally good ship, oh man. (also a Jeeves/Wooster fan. Actually, also a Heavy/Medic, Engie/Pyro, and Orange/White fan. But seeing someone mention Nero Wolfe caught my eye!)

That one was Transylvania 6-5000, but I do have a St. Elsewhere icon! It's my most recent obsession, and it just kind of happened by accident.

I got into the Nero Wolfe books after seeing the series, which... boy, what a color palette! I wrote fanfic for it back in my yahoo mailing list days of fandom, which... I'd probably be embarrassed by now if I could go back and find it. Man, now I want to find and rewatch the show, though.

I think I must have cross-posted them to Milk and Orchids and the WWoMB mailing list, yeah. Wow, small world!

(Ed Begley Jr. is like... definitely one of those actors where I would not think 'oh yeah, that's My Type', except whenever he plays that kind of hapless, clumsy character, I find him adorable? I absolutely got into St. Elsewhere just because I loved him so much in Transylvania 6-5000, and then it didn't hurt that I love listening to William Daniels being arrogant and obnoxious in anything)

Oh man, Transylvania 6-5000 is very cute on the whole. Ed Begley jr and Jeff Goldblum running around bickering and grabbing onto each other at every opportunity, a lot of goofiness.

And I know all of St. Elsewhere is on Hulu, but at least few seasons are on youtube. For some reason whoever put it up didn't put up season two, which is how I signed on for a trial subscription of Hulu... but at least there's some that's just floating around out there in a 'keep circulating the tapes' fashion. There's probably someplace else that has it to stream that I'm just unaware of...
