After six years, I'm back on DW. Wow.

Fannish Interests: I'm in the Voltron: Legendary Defender fandom and working on a big canon AU-verse future/kid-fic (the Alabanza series! come check it out!). I'm also into the MCU, Harry Potter (of course!), Star Wars, The Expanse, The Magnificent Seven (2016), The Magnus Archives podcast, The Good Place, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Stranger Things, Person of Interest, Elementary, Discworld, Leverage, Tamora Pierce (Emelan and Circle), Garth Nix (Abhorsen series), Miyazaki films, and I'm looking around for other fandoms to get into as well. (Past ones have been Teen Wolf, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Inception, Stargate Atlantis, and the Hobbit, among others.) I'm in the process of reading Animorphs, and it's AWESOME.

The Content I Post: Fic! As well as some meta thoughts, fanart (when I can get my act together long enough to drag out my tablet), and general blathering. I've mostly been on tumblr these last... jeez, six years, but I'm going to try to get back into being here on DW more and being more social in general. Both I and my fannish experience is v. queer (which is not to say that I don't have het ships -- Jake/Amy 4ever), and although I post about it rarely if ever, this journal is kink-positive.

Subscription/Access Policy: Most of my journal is public, but some things are friends-locked. I'm open to friends of all ages -- I've been in fandom since I was 13 and had fan-friends as a teenager and it was great -- but know that my fannish experience occasionally includes NSFW stuff. Anyone is free to comment!

About Me: Primarily, that I'm bad at talking about myself! I'm also disabled/chronically ill, a history lover, a theatre kid, a constant crafter (hand embroidery is my drug of choice, but I'll try my hand at anything), That Person with 300+ pins of nail art on Pinterest, and working towards someday writing original fiction as well as fanfic.

I've been thinking of rereading the Abhorsen series, and Animorphs too (I never actually finished those, but I read some great fanfic.)

Not yet, they don't have it at the library so I'll do a reread of the series first to decide how badly I want it because I need to keep an eye on my book budget.

IMO it's not as good as the original trilogy, but has some interesting worldbuilding.
