Main Fandoms: Captain America, Steven Universe, The Magnus Archives, Nirvana in Fire, Star Wars, Yuri On Ice, and most recently Venom (I liked the terrible movie where sad reporter man gets a buff alien boyfriend, if anyone wants to try and get me into the comics I am OPEN to it)
Other Fandoms: My interests section on my profile has a more complete list, but I love science fiction and fantasy lit and would love to meet more fans of that to talk about it with. (Discworld, Imperial Radch, The Goblin Emperor, etc...) I love a lot of older anime like Utena and Fruits Basket, and also I consume a metric ton of audio dramas because I like to listen to them at work.
Fannish Interests: I mostly lurk and read other people's fic because I am a shy ball of anxiety, but this year's new years resolution is to start posting my own. I also like pretty art of my OTPs but who doesn't.

Date: 2018-12-18 05:59 pm (UTC)Yeeeeeaaaah, I'd probably be a lot more ambivalent about it if it weren't for someone pointing out that the death of tumblr probably means people wont do gifsets much anymore because they're harder to set up elsewhere. I'm going to miss those!that's how I found new shows!
Otherwise I'm just popcorning and hoping the more toxic parts of tumblr culture die with it.

Hopefully, the DW staff will be able to make changes to their (positively ancient, inherited from LJ) code to make adding pics to posts a little easier. It'll take time though, as they're a small volunteer staff and they've really got their work cut out for them.

Yeah. The only people who seem to be staying on Tumblr are the ones who don't want to leave their friends behind (ie. the fan communities that thrive on Tumblr), or those who are the toxic people you should avoid (ie. those friggin' Nazis, TERFs and MAPs).
