I go by Lockie and I'm 23. I'm of Norwegian & Irish descent, born in Scotland and now living in England. I am female, a tomboy who loves pretty things, and queer. My pronouns are she/her, or they/them. I have ADPKD which I probably won't talk about that much. I'm politically centre-left. I'm an ESFJ, a Libra and a Hufflepuff. I swear a lot and 'fuck' is probably my favourite word - I don't think there's any word in the English language that can express so many different ideas and feelings

I am a geography nerd, have a BSC in Geography and Urban and Regional Planning and work as a Transport Operations Planner for a logistics company. I'm saving up to study an Urban and Regional Planning MSc. Did I mention being a nerd for geography and urban planning?
(I mean, just look at my interests, right?)

I have a coffee addiction, especially Starbucks Caramel Macchiato. And let me tell you - you haven't lived if you've never had a Caramel Irish Coffee. Short-term caffeine and sugar fixes for the fucking win!

I love socialising, playing tennis and football, cycling, swimming, dancing, yoga, taking long showers, parties, listening to music, striking up conversations with random people, playing board games, rearranging the furniture in my flat, kinky sex & role play, putting on super soft comfy pjs and hiding under a fluffy blanket with a book.

My current fandoms are Gentleman Jack, Good Omens, Carnival Row, MCU, War Of The Worlds, His Dark Materials, and anything with Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman, Chris Evans or Mark Ruffalo. I grew up on Star Trek. I have major crush on Cara Delevingne. I'm a sucker for a period drama. My favourite books are Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice & Matilda. I fucking love Jane Austen and books are my best friends!

Music wise I love Adele, Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, One Direction (Harry Styles!), James Arthur, Rihanna, Demi Lovato... and a bizarre interest in opera!

I'm happy to believe in fairies, elves, and trolls, and I'll dig holes, climb trees, and look under bridges to find these creatures. Mythology, fairy tales and urban legends give me a hard-on.

I also get super excited about climate change, sustainability, conservation, skincare, positivity, kindness, and doodle almost constantly. I'm fascinated by divination and tarot. I keep meaning to try bullet journalling and jewllery making. I would love to grow my own fruits & vegetables. And I love love!

As someone who is working on a fictional city map, I find your interest in geography and urban planning fascinating. Added you!

I'm an ESFJ, a Libra and a Hufflepuff.

I wonder how much these three things can instantly convey about any one person. Like, I'm an ISTJ/Virgo/Ravenclaw. (... surprising no one, probably?)

Two things! First, if you like Chris Evans - how about Push (2009)? :D

And second, if you like mythology… have you read Alma Alexander's quartet of books called Worldweavers? Native American mythology woven through out (Grandmother Spider, the Trickster, etc.). (It's a really fascinating mix of things and very enjoyable.)

(I just had to ask because these are two of my favorite fandoms but both are much less-known than they should be!)

Hello!

I think it'd be an asset to have someone in Urban Planning who, as a fan, has seen a lot of good and bad examples of how to build the infrastructure for a society. Have you seen The Orville? Those future cities with the light, airy buildings and all the green floors!

I like Good Omens and MCU. If you haven't yet found them, I recommend Love Is For Children and Schrodinger's Hulk.

Those are things I write about. Next up will be the Poetry Fishbowl on Tuesday, January 7 with a theme of "Short Forms," which means the actual subject is wide open. Drop by and ask me for anything that'll fit into 60 lines or less.

Climate change, sustainability, conservation, positivity, kindness, divination, and gardening are among my interests also.

I invite you to visit my blog and see if you like it.
