Subscription/Access Policy: I don't have a subscription/access policy per say. I am friendly and open with everyone and enjoy a sense of community. I would say that some of the fanfiction I may post will be of the NC-17 variety but I would always clearly mark those. I learned a long time ago to keep real life to a minimal when it comes to journals but I may post here and there.

 

Main Fandoms: Jossverse (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel the Series, Dollhouse, etc.), Teen Wolf, Supernatural, Stargate Series
Other Fandoms: Too many to list.
Fannish Interests: Fanfiction. I do enjoy reading others, looking at artwork, collecting icons, and everything else under the sun.
OTPs and Ships: Again, too many. Mostly I tend to lean toward the less popular of ships. While I do enjoy all sort of ships and types, I do tend to lean towards more M/M when it comes to romance.

Favourite Movies: Lilo & Stitch and anything kajiu based. (I need to get a Godzilla icon!)
TV Shows: Too many to list but Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Stargate are my top two/
Books: The NeverEnding Story by Michael Ende and The Dresden Files
Music: I listen to all kinds.
Games: My top five are: Fallout series, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Uncharted, and Pokemon
Comics/Anime/Misc: It varies but comic book wise, I'm a big fan of Hellblazer.

I'm not sure if we have any fandoms in common or not, but feel free to check out my 'interests' on my profile. I like a lot of things, so there's probably at least one that we have in common. LOL. I, too, like all genres but lean towards M/M. I post mainly about fannish things (with RL stuff once in a while), and most are public.

It's been my experience that even when no fandoms are shared, that doesn't mean a good friendship can't begin. Most of my fandoms I found myself drawn into have been from people who introduced me to them and now I'm hooked!

That's true! Also, with a quiet community like Dreamwidth, many of us connect via fandom in general rather than specific shared ones. Not like back in the Live Journal days where everyone had their own specific communities.

That does seem to be how I've viewed the community so far. It's rather a melding pot rather than staying on little fandom islands of their own making. Which I don't mind at all!
