Main Fandoms: Dr Who, The X Files, Spooks, Star Trek, Stargate. Dr Who is the main one (New and Classic, although Classic holds my heart).
Fannish Interests: Reading/writing fic, and reading the occasional piece of meta on interesting subjects.
Favourite Movies: The Philadelphia Story, Letter From An Unknown Woman, Serenity, Bringing Up Baby, Sleeping Beauty, To Have And Have Not. Film noir, sci-fi, musicals, and most other things.
TV Shows: The West Wing, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Ashes To Ashes, Farscape, Moonlighting, Castle, QI, The Avengers (60s TV), Ab Fab, The Big Bang Theory, CSI, NCIS...and I think I should stop there :P
Books: Anything by Virginia Woolf. Dune by Frank Herbert. Isaac Asimov and Arthur C Clarke. John le Carre. Herman Hesse. David Eddings. The Sherlock Holmes books. Currently conducting a love affair with every single word TS Eliot ever wrote.
Music: David Bowie, Maria Callas, Marianne Faithful, Eva Cassidy, Frank Sinatra, Katie Melua, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits. Basically...a bit of everything.
Comics/Anime/Misc: Never started on comics or anime, although I have friends trying to get me to give it a go.
Other Info: University student studying English, so expect a certain amount of not-entirely-serious moaning about essays and dull books. Also in to ancient things (history/archaeology/literature), hanging around in secondhand book shops, and LiveJournal roleplay, although I don't do a huge amount of it. Also a refugee from LiveJournal's latest changes.
