Main Fandoms: Final Fantasy X and VII (all incarnations) mainly, XIII and XII on occasion. Legacy of Kain, Transformers (Bayverse, Prime, G1, DW and IDW), Warhammer 40K, Iain M Banks' Culture series, Gundam SEED & Destiny.
Other Fandoms: Devil May Cry, Trinity Blood, RahXephon, Kingdom Hearts, Naruto, Lovecraft.
Fannish Interests: I write fanfic, I'll occasionally make icons too. I like meta and talking about episodes and characters.
OTPs and Ships: I like rare pairings as much as I like the main pairings, but here's a few I'll always read about if they come up:
Zack/Sephiroth, Zack/Sephiroth/Angeal, Aerith/Cloud, Cid/Vincent, Rude/Reno.
Optimus/Megatron, Prowl/Jazz.
Janos/Sarafan Raziel, Kain/Umah.
Dearka/Yzak, Kira/Lacus.
Kakuzu/Hidan, Deidara/Sasori, Itachi/Kisame.

Mostly I just like groups of characters, but I have a particular interest in the gestalts and cityformers from Transformers. Aerialbots, Predacons and Combaticons in particular. I enjoy exploring the bay guys, but I love a hero.
I'm very much a Black Templar and Blood Ravens fan for Warhammer 40k, and I love anything by Dan Abnett and Aaron Dembski-Bowden.
Favourite Movies: Equilibrium, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Harry Potter movies ('fraid I never really read the books), Twilight Samurai, Hellboy, X-Men, Pulp Fiction, 13th Warrior, Lady in the Water, The Village, Kung Fu Panda, Event Horizon, Aliens Vs Predator, Predator, Star Trek, Star Wars, the new Sherlock films, Pan's Labyrinth, The Devil's Backbone, The Orphanage.
TV Shows: The Mentalist, Look Around You!, Buffy, Star Trek (all incarnations though the original series is my favourite), The Wire, Supernatural.
Books/Authors: The Culture series by Iain M Banks, Alastair Reynolds, Tery Pratchett, Dan Abnett, Nick Kyme, Aaron Dembski-Bowden, Gav Thorpe, Haruki Murakami, Yukio Mishima, C. J. Cherryh, C.S. Friedman, Stephen Donaldson, Anne Kelleher, Kate Griffin, Michael Moorcock's Elric books, Anne Rice, China Mieville, H. P. Lovecraft.
Music: I like an awful lot of different music, from black metal such as Cradle of Filth, to poppy stuff like Leona Lewis. And pretty much everything in between. VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, Code 64, You Me at Six, Blink-182, AFI, In Flames, Pendulum, Peter Gabriel, Two Steps from Hell, Noisia, Skrillex, The Low Anthem, many others! I also love soundtrack music, so anything by John Powell, Hanz Zimmer and Steve Jablonsky goes straight on my iPod.
Games: Legacy of Kain, Final Fantasy VII, X, X-2, XII, XIII, Dawn of War (all incarnations), Space Marine, Devil May Cry, Bioshock, Deus Ex. I play more than I can actually remember, but those are the ones that spring to mind.
Comics/Anime/Misc: Black Butler, Chevalier D'Eon, Gundam SEED & Destiny, Ghost Hound, RahXephon, Noien and currently just watching Tiger & Bunny.
Other Info: I love sci-fi, robots, AI and anything to do with post-humanism. Chatting about new books, films and games too. I read a lot and I try to cover 50 books each year which I'll then talk about. If you want to see what I read and how I react to them my 50 in 2010 and 50 in 2011 tags will tell you what type of things I love and don't love.
I also adore ghost stories and creepy things, hence the love of Lovecraft. I'm also very much into Space Marines and giant robots these days. In my journal I tend to post book reviews, links to things that amuse me, music recs and occasional bits about my RL. I also link to my fic. I like to comment and I like to chat with new people.
In terms of politics I'm very left wing, I work in the IT industry and I love my cat. :)
